CronCount

CronCount is a stand-alone program that is appropriate for individual use, or can even be used to offer access counts to an entire site. This script program can be run from the command line. It uses the Web server log to count the number of Hits or accesses to your site, ignoring the repeat hits. It can also maintain log counts independent of the server log files. Each time the program is run the fresh entries are added to the already tabulated log files, unlike the earlier versions where each time the program was run, the whole log file was re-tabulated. It works in Unix environment and requires Perl installed on your computer.
